Karel was founded from the shared ambition of Mechteld van den Bosch and Jens Padmos to practice their profession in the beautiful and diverse city of Amsterdam. Mechteld and Jens met during their orthodontic specialization training, where they discovered a shared enthusiasm for orthodontics and a strong focus on aesthetics.After a long search for a suitable location, we found a centrally located space in a former garment factory in the Nieuwe Pijp district of Amsterdam. This space has been completely renovated into a modern and welcoming practice where you will be treated with a sense of privacy, personal attention and care.

He is known for being highly approachable and always taking the time to explain treatments calmly and clearly. Jens strives for optimal results and, when necessary, collaborates closely with other specialized dental professionals. His goal is to achieve an end result that is balanced in every dimension: function, symmetry, and aesthetics. In addition, he is actively involved in scientific research in the field of orthodontic retention wires.
